Considering the present knowledge-based economy and demand of capable and qualified human capital, the GGKKM has planned to establish Skill Development Centre (SDC) to ensure the nation’s-global competiveness.

Skill Development Centre (SDC) is responsible for co-ordination of all skill development efforts across the state, removal of disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training framework, skill up-gradation, building of new skills, and innovative thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created. Skill Development Centre also intends to work with other alliances in the field and make collaborations with relevant State and centre government departments, industry and NGOs for multi-level engagement and more impactful implementation of skill development efforts. SDC can help the children to move forward in their carrier on the basis of their skills and interest after 10^th and 12^th std.
